Ode To Together

Number 3

978 days together. Momma gets a job. “Bye, Mommy.” “Bye, Z.” Lunchbox, backpack, cubbyhole; a first. Monday. Tuesday. Wednesday. Thursday. Happy. Momma gets sick, she is in bed. Z is not sick. But she is sleeping on top of Momma. 12 hours; daylight. Just to be near.
